I cannot find this wire. I am trying to hook up a small trailer. Via testing, I easily found the wires that supply the turn signals, and those signals are working on both my trailer and the car.
I cannot get power to the trailer's tail or brake lights. Testing the plug that goes into the tail light fixture on the driver's side, nothing lights when I have the tail lights/headlights switched on. Additionally, I can unplug that plug, and the car's tail lights will still come on. I didn't check the brake lights, but assume the problem is the same with both, namely, I have not found the correct wire(s).
Since the tail lights work when the plug to the driver's side light socket is unplugged, power is obviously supplied from some other wire.
Can you help me find that wire?
Thanks.

You could check newtis .com enter the last seven of the vin and check the wiring diagrams
Thanks for the reply. Went there. Correct link, btw, is newtis.info.
'.com' takes you to some page trying to sell you the domain.
I entered my vin, and it took me to:
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...light/BstRIrY3
Which shows a diagram, but does not help me locate the wire physically in my vehicle. I must be missing something. Those lights should not come on after I pull the connecting plug, should they?
Thanks again for the reply. Any additional info or advice appreciated.
