Looking for recommendations on good shop near Ellington, Ct

This thread was moved to the tristate NY, NJ, CT forum, but seeing as I am in Northeast Ct, north central maybe, I think the NE forum might be better.

New owner of an '04 325Ci ragtop. Would like recommendations on a good, honest BMW shop within a reasonable drive. The 3 that are close I find by google search are Munich Motorsports in E. Windsor, Tony's Auto Service in Manchester and Northeast Motor Werks in Middletown.

If you have a recommendation that is a little further, I'd consider it.

Munich has had a good reputation, I have used them twice but has been awhile since I do majority of my own work. What is scope of your needs that might help, E46 is at point were it's a mainly DIY car.

I am having a bad feeling about them. I was told by the owner that I have a bad trans control module and that a used one will not work. I posted this in the E46 section and a number of people have said they doubt it is bad and if it is, any used one will work perfectly. Where are you located?

BTW, he said the new one installed is 1400 bucks.
