Feeler: Ultimate SmartPhone Cradle?

Over the last few months, I have been working on a simple solution to a complicated problem for most older (and even some of the modern bmws). What is a decent phone holder that doesn't suck? I have tried CD mounted, Magnetic, Windshield, Vent and all those never really did it for me because it actually compromised the purpose of the fixture it was mounted on.

Anyway, for the last year I wasted a whole lot of time/money on trying and hacking apart different mounts; identifying the manufacturer/vendor of these certain parts to the point that I put together a decent low profile mount that has been working perfectly for the last 6 months.

It is an almost integrated design since it secures to your cigarette lighter and also offers charging. The only problem is that depending on where your cigarette lighter, it could get in the way of the shifter; especially if you drive a manual.

Thus far, I have tested a variety of phones an on e24, e30, e36, e46, e90, f30 but admittedly all of them have been automatic shifters and gave enough clearance (have yet to test on a stock manual car).

So right now, I am trying to get feelers to see if this is even a desirable product for classic bmw owners before I start production of these. I will need at least 50 interested parties to place the minimum parts order; selling at $65 shipped before it can even be marginally profitable for me to start producing these.

That said, let me hear some feedback!
