Currently have an Infiniti G37, and in the market for a newer sedan. Looking at the 2017 BMW 530i xDrive as a potential replacement. As I'm considering purchasing, what are some things I should be aware of as a potentially new owner in terms or maintenance/reliability? Both models I'm looking at have under 20k miles.

Why the xDrive? Is that something you need in Charleston? I wouldn't buy an xDrive vehicle if I didn't need it for winter road conditions.

Any car that you are seriously considering to buy needs to undergo a thorough pre-purchase inspection. All used cars have issues. Find a reputable indie shop that specializes in bimmers at www.bimrs.org. Btw, who or what is selling the bimmers?
