BMW F20 116d weird startup noise

Hello everyone.

I get a weird startup noise on my F20 116d

It mainly occurs when the engine is warmed up, it doesn’t have any difficulties starting, it just makes that noise.

FOR THE RECORD:


I found the issue, it was the alternator belt tensioner.

I replaced it and its super smooth now.

I found no similar issue online so I'll keep the vid up in case someone encounters it in the future.
