Hey im new to this forum but have a question hopefully someone can help with. I was just driving my 2009 750 li and felt a slight bump in transmission and immediately got an error on the screen saying "transmission malfuction" then "drivetrain malfunction" the D on gear shift started blinking as well as a D on the dashboard. I was able to drive home (about a mile) with car feeling stuck in gear but car wouldnt go in park once home. The D just continues to blink it wont go in any other gear. Can someone give me any advice as to what problem may be or have had a similiar issue??

Unless you well versed in working on complicated cars I would tow it to as good independent BMW shop for diagnostics if you wanted to figure it out you need to find out what the fault codes are
