That's like comparing apples to oranges. They are at completely opposite ends of the spectrum. Yes, they are both high performance cars, but they are very dissimilar.
One is a hybrid, wanna-be supercar with rear gas engine, non-usable backseat, minimal trunk space, and a front electric motor. The other is basically a street-legal racecar with a semi-functional backseat, and a decent size trunk.
My advice would be to test drive both. I think the M4 is easily a better daily driver just for the sheer ease of entry/exit into the vehicle.
