I have one from a 735i but I imagine that the 735iL one is longer?

I’ll buy the entire shaft if the front half is the same and it might be. Is yours a 4 bolt flange and can you get me a measurement ?
    Thx

It is the 4 bolt and I'll pull it out and get some measurements.

It looks like from the mating flange with the four bolts to the centerline of the u-joint is like 27.5" or from the centerline of the u-joint just behind the flange to the centerline of the u-joint just in front of the center support bearing is like 26.25"

Let me know if you want me to email you some pics or something.

I'm sorry I don't understand what you are asking about the center bolt...yes, it is still bolted together.

Some driveshafts are held together with a single bolt into the center of the shaft. Others are held together with a collar ring

Oh ok, I didn't realize that. The one I have just has the one large bolt in the middle.

The driveshaft shop isn’t coming up with 27 3/8. I am guessing the 1/8 difference is just the difference in measuring ? Price for sending the front 1/2 with the bolt and washer that holds the 2 sections together to 30260
    Thx

OK, yeah I'm sure that's just the inaccuracy of using a tape measure. Can you PM me your email address or phone number so I can send some pics? There is some surface rust on the driveshaft end, just want you to be sure you want it before I take it part and get a shipping quote.
