    One month into ownership

One month into ownership of my 8er time for some projects

Had the pixels replaced on the radio
Sunroof headliner came apart gonna try to fix it
Changing out everything in the front suspension and the shocks..parts are coming in today
AC isn’t working (blowing hot air only) changing the ac compressor and recharging didn’t fix it so I think it’s a wiring issue

Things that broke that I’m not going to fix for now

    The cassette player doesn’t work
The CD player worked when I bought it but now it says CD error on the first disc and empty on the rest of them
The little color piece on the gear selector is now stuck on 1

Not too bad so far I guess

91 850i the ad was deleted. Also in the past someone added A Ci from a different model to the rear badging and it now shows an awkward looking 850Ci I plan to correct that too

    Had a 1991 BMW 850

    Badge

My 1991 850 was a CSI before I took the badge off. I still have the V12 on the other side

Here's how you get the CD stacker going again - very easy!

If the compressor is running - then the heater valves have failed open:

I tried the fix in your article for the disc changer and still no luck
There were 5 bearings when I took it apart

I'm doing the same like you right also started a month ago
Regarding your AC why did you change the compressor?
Put some dye in and then see where the leak is ,it could be the evaporator ,why do you think it's the wiring

That's the laser gone out of focus then (or with fluff on it) worth trying a cleaning disk.....

I thought it was the compressor that was bad so I changed it then it still didn’t work. I used some extra cables I had and it temporarily worked when I hooked up a power source to the compressor so I think the compressor isn’t getting power

You may have to bridge the AC lockup safety device behind the left foot well speaker.
