I’m so confused right now, I cannot reset my ftm it’s all greyed out! All the tire pressure’s are at the correct psi and it is still greyed out. What do I need to do to reset it? I am unable to switch into any modes, always reverts back to comfort mode. Please help me! I’m ready to take this back to the dealership and tell them where to put it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Is there anyway to bypass the system so that I can switch modes and turn off the traction control?
What's an ftm?

FTM? anyways, the cars always go into comfort mode when the vehicle is shut off. There is normal and can't be changed unless there's some 3rd parts app that can change it. BMW has no way to change those settings.
Ftm is the Flat Tire Moniter.. My car is not equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
I'm pretty sure your car does have a flat tire monitoring system. I see that you're in Canada, but here in the US, FTM systems have been mandatory for years. If there is a fault in the system, the vehicle will not go into sport mode. It doesn't want you to drive aggressively if it can't monitor the tires properly.
And if you just bought the car, why wouldn't you take it right back to the dealership you bought it from and have them fix it?

If the tires are not flat, then you have different sizes installed, or different brand/model tires installed on the car.
If it's not any of that, then the ABS/DSC system needs a scan with a BMW oriented scanner.

My car is equipped with FTM, not TPMS. I made the mistake of not buying from a BMW dealership. The car went back 3 times in 4 weeks the the dealership I purchased from. I finally took it to a specialist for euro cars and they got the TPM light off with software updates and diagnostics clearing of codes. They don’t know if it will stay off permanently so they never charged me for the two days they had it and worked on it. If it comes back on I will have to bite the bullet and take it to a BMW dealership, there will be hell to pay if this dealership sold me a car that requires substantial “surgery”. So far the cars been good since I got it back last night. I have access to all my modes (sport, sport + and traction control disabled and launch control) I will post any new updates. Thank you everyone for all your help in your diagnosis.
