    Turbo E36 M3

    FS: Turbo E36 M3

    [SOLD]

    1997 BMW M3 Coupe 445whp/409tq (w/ built S52 engine & turbo kit)

    Hellrot Red
    5 Speed Manual Transmission
Clean Carfax from when I purchased vehicle in 2013 178,5xx miles on body (still drive occasionally on weekends)

Selling the car because I am moving at the end of the summer and would like it to find a good home for some upcoming track days. Most of the labor was done myself in my garage over the past few years, I’ve tried to document the build as best as possible below. I’ve kept nearly all the receipts in a folder that I’m happy to transfer over to the new owner. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them, please no test drives unless you have cash in hand.

    Engine/Transmission:
-S52 Block (rebuilt by Accurate Engines at 177,500 miles) w/ Weisco 87mm 8.5:1 compression pistons & 135mm Molnar rods -TRM Turbo Kit: black powdercoated chargepipes allowing you to keep A/C, Synapse blow off valve, custom MAF, custom watercooled Garrett GT30 Turbo w/ GT35 hotside, k&n 3’’ cold air intake, Walbro 255lph high flow fuel pump, Siemens 60 lb/hr injectors, Tial MV-S 38mm wastegate w/ adjustable spring set, exhaust manifold, catch can https://www.trmtuning.com/product/tr...e36-turbo-kit/
-Dyno Tuned to 445hp/409tq at 14psi of boost before engine build (TRM kit includes a data logger for remote tuning)
-ARP head stud kit, top end decked, rebuilt vanos
-Euro E36 M3 dual sump oil pan
-SPAL electric fan kit (w/ override switch in cabin), cooling system overhaul (Z3M 3 row radiator, metal impeller waterpump, new expansion tank, new 71° thermostat/aluminum thermostat housing & hoses replaced)
-Custom oil cooler setup (mounted behind driver’s side fog light) w/ thermostat, braided steel hoses & Ireland Engineering cap (uses Mahle ‘OX154/1D’ E46 Oil Filter)
-Custom 3.5’’ turboback exhaust (w/ resonator only), has switch in muffler to only allow exhaust to go out of only one pipe to make it quieter (not installed)
-M50 manifold swap, secondary air pump delete
-UUC twin disk clutch/flywheel setup (rated for 1000hp, easy to daily drive on and has no gear rattle), replaced OEM pilot & throw-out bearings, SS clutch line, new clutch pedal bushing
-Bear Motorsports short shifter kit, OEM bushings/bearings replaced, AKG Motorsports DTM selector rod
    -Replaced OEM starter motor
-Thayer Motorsports rebuilt differential (kept stock 3.23 ratio), upgraded with 4 custom clutches for 60% lockup
    Suspension/Steering:
-Aligned by Achtuning at 177,900 miles
-TC Klien double adjustable coilovers (spring rates: F400/R500), Vorshlag front camber plates -Dinan front strut brace, E36 convertible x-brace underneath
-UUC 27mm front sway bar, Turner Motorsport adjustable end links
-Willwood Dynalite Front Calipers, 330i rotors on front, new oem rotors in the rear, SS lines, Porterfield R4S pads
-Rack Doctor Rebuilt Z3 Steering Rack
-AKG Polyurethane 95A Front Control Arm Bushings (offset), 90A Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, 95A Rear Subframe Bushings, E21 Transmission Mounts (w/ Metal Cups), replaced OEM Engine Mounts, rouge engineering rear shock mounts
-Front subframe, engine mount, rear trailing arm, rear sway bar & rear shock mount reinforcement plates (all welded on by a local professional)

    Exterior:
-APEX ARC-8 Concave 17x9.5 square setup, Dunlop Direzza Z2 255/40/R17 tires
-Bimmerworld wheel stud kit, 5mm spacers in front, professionally rolled fenders
-Glass euro headlights & HID kit w/ acura TSX projector headlights inside, clear euro lights all around w/ ghosted bulbs
-MaxVelocity E36 M3 RS front lip
    -Matte black kidney grills

    Interior/Misc:
-AEM Tru Boost Electronic Boost Controller & Gauge, AEM AFR Gauge mounted on RallyRoad E36 steering column gauge pod
-VDO oil temp, pressure & water temp gauges, mounted in trip computer slot -Alcantara grey shift boot & handbrake covers
-Euro e36 m3 steering wheel w/ new airbag & slipring (Tainik on ebay re-wrapped & stitched this)
    -AC Schnitzer pedals
-Kenwood stereo deck, upgraded front speakers & amplifier mounted in trunk -United Auto Security System (w/ E46 Style Key)
    -ZHP weighted shift knob

    Known Issues:
-Broken tab on corner light: still stays in place, just sags at times
-Leak coming from power steering pump: I’ve driven and cleaned under the car multiple times and have it pinned down to there
-Dent in back of trunk: I tried to picture it the best I can (no paint chipping and it’s the size of a tennis ball) I have another trunk with the wing holes welded over that needs to be painted then can be swapped on
-ABS not working: never got around to fully investigating this issue
-Airbag light is on: it was on when I bought the car as the original steering wheel had a bad slipring, it has been replaced so the car needs to be taken to a dealer to delete the code
-Catch can needs to be hooked up to exhaust to create more vacuum: you will need to buy a line & check valve but the exhaust is pre-drilled to take a AN fitting

Does this setup rub on dips? seem like really big wheels and tires and it's super low

Yeah it does a bit where it sits now. I've played around with it, and think the height its at is a good compromise between looks/rubbing. But obviously its on coilovers so it can be raised up and not rub at all, the fenders are rolled nicely to fit the setup.
