BMW Partnered with Toyota to helped bring back one of the most iconic names in motorsports by reviving the Supra with the long-awaited A90 MK5 Chassis.


So what’s changed now that the new A90 Supra has a lovable inline-six turbo? Toyota chose to partner with BMW for two main reasons.


First, BMW has been successfully manufacturing turbocharged cars with relatively high dependability and performance longer than anyone.


Second, BMW is one of the few companies still producing straight-six gasoline keeping production costs for the new Supra platform down.
