Hey guys, im going to be 5 speed swapping my '89 535i here shortly, i already have the getrag 260 and i was wondering what else im going to need, i was looking at RHD engineering lightweight flywheel that will accept the m5 clutch which can hold the power (i have a turbo m30) and i know im going to need a cross member and a different drive shaft, throw out bearing, master cylinder ect but is there anything that i wouldn't know i need that i will?

1. Do both the engine's and transmission's rear main seals while you're in there, plus the selector shaft seal.
2. Check the clutch fork pivot pin. OE is plastic and can wear out over time. You can replace with another OE plastic or go with aftermarket ones made of either brass, steel, or other alloy. Personally I went with the one made by AGA Tools.
3. Make sure your clutch kit also includes the pilot bearing as well. If not, you can order one separately.
