I am kicking the idea of selling my NSX and if so, I would want an newer/ish BMW 8 series or an SL 500/400. Since this is a BMW forum and I love my current E38 then logic says I stay with marque
So...are these nice cruisers? Do the coupes have a sportier feel? (I have no interest in tracking it.) My current sports car is a targa which I really like and I am not opposed to a full on convertible either.
Any guiding comments are appreciated.
I have an 850i xDrive coupé, and in the opinion of both my wife and myself, it's the perfect tourer for 2 people. Lots of space for luggage, and the ride is great. Enough power to hold whatever speed you want, and overtaking is almost instantaneous.

I have a M850i xD and in the opinion of both my wife and myself, it is the perfect tourer for 2 people. Lots of space for luggage, and more than enough power to maintain any speed you want, plus overtaking is almost instantaneous. The style is great and only gets better with time.
I just purchased a 840i. I really like the car but the controls are a bitch to understand. There is a button on the steering wheel that says Mod. I looked in the owners manual and it says it changes the mod. What the hell are the modes?
I just purchased a 2022 840i the four doors the way to go!
