    2003 BMW M3 oil?

    what oil should i use for daily driving, no track driving. need something to get me through summer and winter stuff that work good in both climates

    What does the owners manual say. Use the manual says or else you’ll mess up the engine.

    i was told i could use 5w50 by someone is this true?

    It’s actually a fully synthetic 10W60. Make sure the new filter is made by Mann. Do not put an aftermarket oil filter in the engine. They are not up to job.

    5w50 has lower film strength and will result in lower oil pressure. I would run nothing but Castrol TWS 10w60. It is the proper oil, with the proper additive package and viscosity.

    Correct! That's what I used when I had mine few years ago.

    That's one way to keep the VANOS from operating properly, it's too thin.
