EDC rebuild or replace
1997 850 Ci
I've done a bit of research and it appears people like the Koni's better than the Boge's or Bilstein's
But are you replacing the whole strut with the non-EDC version or pulling it apart to remove the EDC shock and dropping in the shock insert? Is it as "easy" as it looks to disassemble the EDC tube and shock? Whats the "Special" nut tool to loosen the shock rod to pull it out?
I've contacted Nagengast about rebuild costs / time line also.
