Finally time to sell my 83 iS. I've had her since 2010 and am the 3rd owner. She grew up in Cali and spent some time in Minnesota before I got her. No rust, no leaks, well maintained and just under 80k original miles. After spending a few years in Germany (with the iS in storage stateside) I accumulated quite a few spares. She runs great, only selling because my oldest is getting close to driving, and we need to make space. I'm now located in Calvert County, Maryland. She's in great shape and runs awesome. Reasonable offers starting at $7,000. Will include my parts bin as well. If you're interested, I'll take the time to push/upload pics.

For that price, I’m certain there are going to be a lot of interested people. I would upload pictures soon, because people are going to ask for them.
I’m selfish and want to see too, only cause I’m jealous you’re on the opposite side of the country.
Best of luck!

Crap, I think I just underestimated the value by at least $2,000...
It happens. Maybe edit the first post before someone sees!

Definitely ask more. It's ok to raise your price here.
Check out Bring a Trailer. Obviously those come with a higher price but the demand for stock 320iS is high these days. 7-10k. 5k isn't necessarily too low.

Photos attached.
Yes, she's dirty.
Headlights upgraded to LED, including white halo parking lights and LED low and high beams.
TINY crack beginning in dash. She's been garaged since I've owned her.
79,649 original miles. I put just over 30,000 on there. She had 45K when I got her in 2010. YES! the digital clock still works!
Original interior, Recaro seats. I replaced the elastic bands under the seats, but haven't gotten around to redoing the upholstery or bolsters.
Sunroof is mechanically sound, no stripped gears
As mentioned, complete tool kit, with spares to boot! I bought a full set while overseas and still have the leftovers
Brand new indicator plastics, front and read... no cracks! Those were about $200 each.
only dents to be found are on the hood... dropped something on it right after I got the car... don't ask, I'm still mad about it
Matching crossbar is mounted in the trunk. Only modifications in the engine bay is the removal of the A/C compressor, receiver/drier, and radiator. Don't worry, I kept everything, the parts come with it. I had the A/C working, but lets be honest, it never worked well in the first place, and definitely couldn't keep up with the 120° summers in New Mexico. The compressor itself was brand new in 2012, and remains sealed. Most of the rubber in the engine bay was replaced when I replaced the valve seals.
LED headlights, as well as the installed battery tender... just plug her in and she stays ready to go.
the rest of the photos
You're missing the blue tool cloth (although some came with a yellow tool cloth and is much more rare than the blue colored ones). The smaller pliers are not original to the tool kit either (although the green tool dip on the handles matches the screwdrivers well). I assume you have the black plastic covers for the rear of the headlights as well. Is the car all stock other than the front strut bar?

Cant speak to the cloth. Ordered a complete tool kit from Walluth and Nesch in Germany. Pretty sure I have the plastic covers. One was cracked and not staying put so I pulled them both.
Yes, completely stock minus the strut bars. I removed the diving board bumpers, but as with anything I removed, I still have.

Here's the invoice for all the brand new parts... in Euros, at the time, was over $1700. if the parts are not already installed, they're in the tupperware container! Also, here's the BMW part number for the tool kit.

I would love to see more side shots and rear shots of the car. I am interested in another e21 and would like to see more picture of the car from different angles.
It looks good.
What wheels are on it, and how are the dampers?
Thanks for sharing it here.
Will get her out of the garage today. What Dampers are you referring to? The wheels are in great shape. When I got it, the spare had never been mounted and still had the original tire.

bump. Price is negotiable, within reason.
bump... no interest? shipping isn't too expensive lately...
Very fair asking price.
Have you offered it locally?
FB Marketplace is a great place to start.
Shipping adds expense and suspense to any purchase.
I bet , a lucky neighbor of yours will end up with it!
It’s a great car. I really like it too. GLWS I hope whatever you need to happen, happen$.
