Fuel lines - M44 and others what about those S bends

I've got everything apart with a mission to replace all rubber. I'm looking at the rubber sections of fuel lines down at the bottom of the firewall. They make an S bend. I have some NAPA supplied straight fuel line I used for the small sections by the fuel filter.

The question is: do I have a chance getting the straight rubber hose bent well enough to replace the existing old ones or do you recommend biting the bullet and getting pre-formed lines?

I replaced mine with straight hose with no problems. It was a while ago so I forget the details, and I don't have the car to hand to have a look, but it worked just fine.

Thanks BladeRunner. I did some searching and I can't find any pre-formed fuel line hoses, so it looks like I'll have to do it with straight hose hose anyway. Obviously, the bends are to allow slack in the line to avoid stress due to engine movement, so in the end if they have enough slack and don't rest on anything it will be okay.
