I have a Schwaben Top Oil extractor that I use on my dipstick equipped Bimmers, Although I am not sure how to I could use it on my 2008 N54.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance..
It’s hard to use an oil extractor on a car without a dipstick. You might find a hole that gets you to the oil pan but probably not to the sump of the oil pan.
I think you can buy a dipstick tube kit. Not sure where or the cost. It is a part you would add when removing the pan to replace the gasket, not an easy job. Plus you have to drill and tig weld.
Just drain the oil with the drain plug or you install the drain plug I have where you insert the fitting and it starts draining it's super easy stahlbus is the name
I think Fujimoto also makes quick drain pan plugs. I still do it the messy old fashioned way.
I have the stahlbus unit it's very well made and easy to use
