What a shame such a nice looking car getting scrapped. Body looks in good shape from the picture.
A day late and it was picked clean. Only long block and auto trans left.

I ran over yesterday morning to check it out and it was already stripped. The interior door panels were beautiful black vinyl but whoever took the door mirrors just ripped the panels off for access. The body looked very clean for the most part except for one bad rust spot under the rear window on the passenger side. Everything else looked great. Decent carpet too.
I did get the turn and wiper stalks. I'd never seen these round style ones and figured they were worth saving.

We must have just missed each other—I was there at about 8:30 AM today. I didn’t find much. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are people that get to go through the car before Pick n Pull opens it to the public.
Somebody cut the fuel injector lines in order to strip the fuel distributor
The whole car should have been saved. Too bad.
WOW !!! I did not expect that. Amarino , Daryl has the upper half of the volume air box - 80 mm Air Disk on the lower half of the 1.8L volume air box,, buy it from him-- pay the shipping + the unit- I got mine from somjuan + 80 mm stroke crankshaft--that one appears to have the 2.0L- 80 mm crankshaft get it !!!! 1.8L have 71 mm crankshaft. the 80 mm stroke + 9.3 compression popup pistons drive the HP from 100-105 to 125 HP with 80 mm air disk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BMW 320i E21's 2.0L-125 HP ones are Germany Domestics Ones-Not Euros- More HP , They always make higher HP ones for use in Germany and sent out lower HP ones to the world--Generally, exceptions due exist..At this time even Higher HP Mods were available--ALPINA or HERBERT HARTGE ORDERS.. Hartge ones did decals, spoilers ect and the famous dual valve turbos--one valve ran lower boost and 2nd valve( had to remove the lower boost valve and put in the higher boost valve) ran high boost-for the Autobahn-this followed Germany Federal Republic Law that only low boost was allowed in any German City Limits and High Boost everywhere else--Hartge turbos -dual valve came with a certificate and lifetime warranty on parts to the owner, both Alpina and Hartge were serviced by BMW dealerships and the warranty work, which was the same as BMW for non Alpina-Hartge Mods. Herbert H did sell a few dual valve turbos here in the States with lifetime warranty on parts and a certificate,, owner was registered with Herbert H. HQ in Germany.
80 mm Stroke Crank and 80 mm Air disk are both on BMW 320i 2.0L models-they are even BAR and CARB approved here in California and the USA for 1.8L upgrades, thank Willie Brandt Chancellor and President unified, his administration did the legal work.
