Hello forum members,
I'm struggling to find the cause of this problem. When I'm driving straight I can loudly hear and even feel tyre grooves. If I slightly turn right the noise disappears. Because of this symptom I have replaced front right wheel bearring.
I have also replaced thrust arm bushings and lower control arm bushings. I also tried another set of wheels.
While replacing the right side bearring I noticed that strut mount has some play. I will post a video link here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBP3de8kerQ
Left side bearring sounds the same, should I replace it? Here's how it sounds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvt1RzrH2S0
Could bad strut mounts cause this type of tyre noise? Or bad shocks? If I push the car down it bounces back right away.
PROBLEM SOLVED: It was the front left bearring. Even though the sound disappeared when turning right.

Wheel bearing yup any time you turn and the noise changes it's always a wheel bearing
My E61 535xi is coming up on 150k miles. In the 9 years I have owned it, I have replaced only one wheel bearing. It was a rear. Three more to go....
