    What Connector and Bulb?

My mortorhome came with Hella headlights made for E38 BMW 7 series. One lens broke and I ordered what I thought were replacement lamps, however they turned out to be different. I installed one hi beam anyway, but it has a different wiring harness (I think that's the right term), and I have been unable to find the part number, or somewhere to purchase it, so that I can connect the lamp to the power source. Can anyone help me with this?

Pasting am image into the message (text) window does not work well. It's best to load the images to a photo hosting site, such as Flicker, Google Photos, 500px, etc. Avoid using Photo Bucket or ImgUr as both make it difficult to link to forums.

Once uploaded to a hosting site, either use the INSERT IMAGE icon when composing your post, or copy the link of the photo into a forum message. The link would be something like; http://hosting_site.com/your_pic.jpg

Well I seem to be technically challenged. I posted a series of photos to that flickr URL to show many aspects of my problem. Are you unable to access the photos? If not, could you give me a little hint on how to use the flickr account to provide a photo? Thanks!

I'm not terribly familiar with Flickr and never warmed up to it. Try this. Select the photo you want to share by clicking on it. Then click on SHARE. Copy the entire url and paste that into your forum post. It's likely to show much more than just the photo...

To me, it looks like possibly the innerds ( not the outmost lens ) of e38 but hard to tell. The pic of just the green wire alone does not look to be OEM wiring, based on that silicone sleeve.

This may help with identifying the bulb type.

I'm leaning towards H1 based on the socket type, but I could be wrong.

That connector with the "v" indent though, not sure what that is.
