sound upgrade question ?

was wondering if the bavsound upgrade speakers and amp are worth the price 1500 I like my music loud and clear I did a full upgrade in my 2003 z4 stereo speakers and amp it rocks now but took me for ever.

Hi,

Some will say yes, others will say no.

Depends on what you are expecting. The Bavsound are a great upgrade when keeping the OEM audio in the car as they 'match' in terms of impedance and physical fitting, so nothing is cut/modified and you swap your standard stuff back in if/when you sell the car.

If you want better audio performance, then $1500 spent on other high quality aftermarket brands will significantly outperform what you'd get from the bavsounds, but you may need some fitting modifications/fabrication that might be needed. Do this bit well, and again, nothing will be cut etc.

well i did a upgrade on my 2003 bmw z4 replaced sll speakers head unit and put in 3 amps but took me forever and i had to cut plugs off , figure out what wire went to what was a pun in the ass but i tell you what i can have top down doing 100mph and it is still loud as hell
