I lowered my 82 e21 1 inch on all 4 corners using H&R lowering springs. The left side looks great but the right side is a little less than an half inch higher. Can anyone tell me what’s going on here? Everything seems to be as it should. Maybe I should throw my measuring tape away!!

Front and back both?
Could it be that the springs are not properly indexed in the rubber cushions and shock mounts top and bottom?
On my car the rear Bilsteins have a snap ring on the shock body to adjust the shock length, could yours be on the wrong setting? (Doubtful, going to a shorter spring, all other things being equal, should result in a lower height)
Also, did you try driving the car a bit before measuring? Is the car on flat level ground when checking?
Did you buy "new" or "used' springs? My first set, used, had a soft rear spring. The second set, fresh from e-bay in a labeled box, perfect. Do you know the trick of locating a set of E-21,323 front spring hats?
