Wanted: black E39 Touring project

Must be a black body in decent cosmetic shape. Everything else - what (if anything) is under the hood, interior, title status, suspension - is optional/negotiable. No sunroof is a huge plus. I'm near Portland but will travel for the right car. I'm looking for a Project, priced accordingly; a two-owner creampuff with a suitcase full of maintenance records is not what I'm looking to pay for. That said, recent quality suspension work and a good black interior are worth something to me.

I know of someone who started a project on a blk/blk e39 525iT years ago and its just been sitting. Rear subframe, diff, axels, rotors, and suspension installed from a M5. It does have a sunroof tho. No interior or door cards. It does have the dash, steering, and carpet. It also has M5 wheels. No engine, trans, or front bumper.

I have a 2000 E39 540iT black on black that is with Kassel Performance right now for a manual transmission swap. Needs some minor paint/body work to be immaculate. I should have the car back in a week or so. Let me know if you're interested.
