dtc--mrs airbag driver stage 2 E46

Hi guys,

I´m new to the Bimmer Forums, Thanks for accepting. I recently purchased a BMW E46 Compact 2003 - 150cv - 6 speed gearbox.
I´ve been wanting to own this type of car for along time. It´s in a pretty bad shape. The previous owner didn´t much care for the car.
I´m basically restoring the car. New shock + springs, new rims and tires + new steering wheel (which I´m having an issue with).

The issue that I´m having with the steering wheel is this code - dtc--mrs airbag driver stage 2 - The airbag has been changed by BMW
recall protocol, I´ve also changed the steering clock ring + airbag cable + airbag Module)under the center console), i´ve also check the
module under the passenger seat for errors (all OK).

Is there anyway fixing this type of error.

This is becoming a nightmare always seeing the red airbag light.

I´ll be most gratefull for some Help in resolving the problem.
