    NEED HELP: Belt Routing

    I am replacing a belt for a 2008 535i/A.

I see many different belt routing online. What confuses me the most is the tensioner assembly. The online pictures I see is one pulley being ribbed and the other smooth. Both the pulleys on this car’s tensioner assembly are smooth.

Was there an update on routing and pulley?

Please clear my mind. I need to get this done today. It’s my daily. Thank you.

The belt on this came off. I would have drawn it if there was a
    Belt to begin with.

If you want real fun, try the belt routing on an X6. Mind=blown - a double-sided microgrooved belt with incomprehensible routing.

Hopefully it did no damage when it came off. There are bad stories about N54 belts going through the front crank seal.
