F30 rear window moves in spurts ?

Hi All

I did a search and came up blank. The rear window on my daughter's 2014 328 (F30) moves up and down in spurts. Like 2 inches at a time in either direction. It's not the motor because a new motor does the same thing. Anyone familiar with the Rear Electronics Module or how to fix this problem? The window also won't auto open or auto close with the others when you try from the key FOB. The window regulator is not binding and moves freely. Thanks for any help.

I am having the exact issue with my 2018 340 - did you mange to solve the problem? At this point I was going to order regulator with motor until i saw this post.
