wet driverside floor 2015 328i xdrive

Hey, I have a 2015 328i xdrive. I've only had it for a year. Noticed a puddle on my rubber floor mat drive side front the other day, below the carpet is also wet. had some leaves and pine needles bunched around the drain under the hood, cleaned them was hoping that was the issue but after more heavy rain I find another puddle. Could the drain hose be plugged and if so should I remove them as I've seen some post about recalls where they were removed should I remove/clean/reinstall or can I clean some way without removing or should I try to put a relief hole to allow better drainage? I live in Canada so sometimes doors freeze could I of torn the weather seal somewhere to allow water to run down inside my door? I plan to do a water test when possible, just wondering in anyone has had this issue before.

Could be the sunroof drains, a poor windshield installation, or a vapor barrier in the door that's leaking.
