I've got a 2000 540i M-Sport 6spd manual.

DSC off...I do 2 wheel burnouts.

Both rear Toyo Proxes are also evenly worn.

The fronts are almost full new tread, rears are way down.

Not saying I have an LSD...but odd.

Thoughts?

Not odd at all. If a pegleg diff has equal traction on each wheel it will spin both tires.

If you really want to be sure jack up the rear and spin one of the rear wheels. If the one on the other side spins in the same direction, it's an LSD. If it spins in the opposite direction, it's an open diff.

My car can leave twin black streaks on the pavement. But only on braking. Does that mean I have a LSD?

Peg legs will spin both wheels under the right circumstances. For example, if you are running from the cops, nail a curb and bust off the right rear wheel, the car will just sit there revving up with no drive, but the cops are still far away cause you can drive, it would be a huge waste to let them catch back up and waste all your hard driving and determination...... pull the handbrake up, viola! You now have drive on the left wheel! Chug on! Don’t get busted.
