Managed to repair my loose trunk lid license plate trim (M -Roadster)

I thought I'd share this here because I imagine that a lot of M Roadster suffer from this piece coming loose. The procedure is pretty straight-forward. You just have to make sure that the surfaces are adequately cleaned and prepped. It is also critical to use the correct double-sided tape. I used 3M that is 1.1mm thick. I've also used some machine screws with well nuts to help secure the trim piece to the trunk lid. Let me know if you have any questions.

    EDIT - here's the process:

    1. Use heat gun to remove the loose trim
    2. Clean old tape residue from the trim piece
    3. Clean residue from trunk lid
    4. Apply 3M tape to the appropriate points on the trim
    5. Attach to the trunk lid
    6. Add screws/washers/well nuts.
    7. Done!
