i have a 2003 e39 540i sport wagon with the M suspension and trim. The car is immaculate. I purchased it new in Nov 2002. Although i live in Michigan, i only recall driving the car in snow once, and that was enough; very scary. It has lived in a heated garage for almost 18 years. My winter car & truck are a 2003 VW Phaeton and a GMC 4x4. I am 85 and having to get rid of my cars which include in addition to the Phaeton, an '06 911s cabriolet and a MB AMG Wagon. the E39 is my favorite. if your interested let me know.
