I think I found what would be a steal unless it needs major work.
I am currently looking to pick up a 99 Techno Violet M3 Vert with 71k miles. Dove interior, manual transmission, looks pretty clean from the pics.
The seller wants $8k which I am willing to pay barring any major issues.
What is the current market for said vehicle in good condition? I only wish it was a coupe and not a vert.
Thoughts?
I don't know about convertibles, but I've been casually looking for an M3 sedan to go with my coupe, and if I see anything around 150k miles or less, in good condition for $8000 or less I'm hopefully going to be in a position to be able to pull the trigger right away. That being said, "good" condition is relative . Do you have any pictures of the car?

Pics are crap and not worth uploading, terrible light and out of focus.
Its not too far away so I am going to take the drive on Thursday and may have better pics then.
Prices for used M3s sub 75k miles are all across the board, so just trying to get a feel for people opinions on what a fair market price could be.
Sounds like a winner to me but I am a terrible judge, buying all kinds of old BMWs and throwing money at them.
Looking for a vert myself. Let me know if you don’t take it home...
If I decide to pass I will post photos and a link.
