Hi i have a e36 323i coupe set up for drifting
I have just installed m3 evo offset topmounts. But swapped from left to right for camber, as advised im many places, and extra caster.
But seems to me that they have given me too much camber. I have tried to measure with a bubble camber guage but it only goes up to 6degress and the bubble wants to go further. I have ordered a digital one now.
Looks to me like i may have around 7 or 8degree on negative camber on front wheels.
Is this too much?
I have turned the wheel nearly to full lock and all the tread on lead wheel is flat on the floor. And thats what your aiming for for grip right?
Front suspension set is-
E46 LCA
Offset poly lollipops
Purple rack steering rack
Extended track rods
Modded hubs
Any ideas?
I would not use the offset FLCABs.
Possibly also go back to the first generation Guide Supports/strut mounts. In the US, the 1995 M3 Guide Support has no offset, does have caster, on part used L&R.
The E46 FLCAs increase the front track, correct? So they are adding camber as well.
