Surely they’ve upgraded from the clapped-out E36s they were driving the last time I was here.

1983 300D - hippie sled...

Actually, yes. I'd never stoop that low though.
I'm in an '02 Silverado 3500, an '02 Scooby Doo, and still the old '97 Chevy 2500. A variety of either non-running, or non-tagged vehicles. A Merkur XR4Ti with a turbo'd 351W, an E46 M3 roller, another 328ti, a LR Disco that a customer refuses to come pay for, among other oddballs.
I daily an e36...not stock

I got a sweet 1983 BMX Mongoose. I ride it around my neighborhood.

I still got the same E36 M3 I've had for 14 years. Comfortably poor.

Our garage shrunk by a lot. Down to just 2 vehicles. 2017 X1 M Sport and 2015 STi.
I was right. Saw an E90 delivering pizzas for Domino’s last night.

Non rusted/clapped out E36’s are a status symbol these days
I think the poors are in e90/60’s
Most poors can't afford E36s anymore, they're going up in price (for some really strange reason)
I want to say you can get an E90 for much less
The drift fcuk bois have traded in their 240’s for E36’s so now there’s a drift tax on them. They’re too stupid to realize they’re paying e46 top dollar or even bottom rung e92 335 money for them.
