Good evening everyone
I drive a 2016 BMW 328i and I got my brake fluid and coolant fluid changed 2 weeks ago at the Nissan dealership I work at. For two weeks, nothing went wrong and the car drove normally. After working all day, I turned on my car and the chassis stabilization light, the brake light, and the check engine light all came on. I took it to a tech that I know and he found the sensor that sits below the reservoir for the brake fluid was bent out of place. The tech repositioned it and both the chassis stabilization light and the brake light went away immediately afterwards. The check engine light, however, stayed on.
Could this brake fluid sensor have sent a signal to the exhaust system to not cooperate? I have one tech I know telling me that the exhaust flap control valve actuator has to be replaced because he found it to be closed. I suppose in sport mode, it opens and closes but he found it closed and left it open for me so that I don't do damage to the catalytic converter.
The other tech suggests it's a circuit situation and that there is an exhaust sensor that is not communicating to the rest of the exhaust system.
If anyone has any inkling as to what could be the problem, I'd greatly appreciate any advice or knowledge.

Read the codes with a capable scanner that can read BMW manufacturer codes out of all the modules. Do not guess.
