F10 535 hiccup under load while accelerating

I'm noticing in my 535 that between 2500-4500/5000 rpm, the car will have a couple hiccups through the rpm range. No CEL, only happens under heavy load. Replaced coils/plugs, no change. Could this be the LPFP?

Doubtful it's the LPFP. The DME is pretty sensitive to drops in fuel pressure and would probably turn on the check engine light. Is your car xdrive?

I bet it's the transfer case. Unplug it and go for a drive.

Underneath the car. Find the transfer case. There's a square electrical plug. Squeeze the locking tab and unplug it. You will certainly set off all kinds of warning lights on the dash, but you can drive normally.

What makes the transfer case go? Low oil?

No, I don't think I've ever seen one leak. Probably just wear out over time. The F15 transfer cases go out all the time. They start binding up and you can feel it when making low-speed, hard turns (like parking lot maneuvering).
