2005 BMW 330I ZHP
Black Sapphire on black leather with black cube trim.
Xenon headlights, Automatic, sunroof, heated leather seats, Rain sensor, HK sound system.
Currently has 177,400 miles (was driven daily, now parked because I have a company car).
I have owned it since 83k miles (2011).
In my time the following maintenance has been completed by myself (I am a former ASE certified mechanic and have been an OEM automotive engineer for 25 years):
Newer 6 year battery (6 months)
Newer tires (less than 5k miles)
Intake/exhaust cam and crankshaft position sensors, O2 sensors, oil filter housing seal,
Valve cover gasket, Intake gasket, Ignition coils, Spark plugs
Expansion tank, Thermostat and housing, Water pump and new o-ring, Upper/lower radiator hoses, Coolant sensor o-ring
Belts and Pullies
Center bearing, Guibo, Trans mounts
Front lower control arm bushings
New yellow lensed fog lamps
No rips or tears in the leather seats, but arm rest leather is worn (but not torn).
Oil changed as schedule (every 7,500 or less) with Mobil 1 Euro Blend and Mann OEM filters

I had hit a fallen pine tree branch in 2013 (113k miles) the front bumper cover was replaced,
A/C condenser, radiator, fan and some plastic trim pieces, no sheet metal damage and no sheet metal paint work was done.

Bads:
Regular chips and scratches from being a daily driver, trunk lid has some scuffs, a couple of small side sings and scratches, have pictures. Sagging headliner and pillar trim
Some minor curb rash, some headlamp lense fogging, drivers door opening weather strip is worn through.
Sometime has a longer crank on restart if sitting for a few hours, but fire right up if sitting longer (been like that since I bought it), oil pan leak (minor, does not go through a quart between oils changes).
Rear view mirror has fogged, sunshade only goes back with the sunroof.

Very mechanically reliable, would drive it anywhere. My daily commute is 100 miles round trip (half country roads, half highway), A/C and heat, radio, seats, windows, etc... works as it should.
Comes with a Style 135 ZHP full size (front) spare with decent tire, will also come with factory mini-spare and plastic trim.
2 keys, all original owners manuals, booklets and original window sticker. All tools still in the tool kit, still has the factory flash light in the glove box.

I am the fourth owner (car fax available, clean no accidents reported), 3rd owner only had it a few months but needed a larger car for kids seats and traded it in. This ZHP has always been in the south, zero rust.

Selling because I got a company car two months ago. The ZHP now just sits, I do drive every other weekend and keep a battery tender on it.
This is a great, well maintained driver car that has plenty of life in it.

Hey I’m looking at this car for sale again here in memphis.. the guy just got it out of auction… it’s a little more rough now but just cosmetic. The guy is shady, and the driveshaft is pulled cause he is in the middle of replacing it because the Guibo went out. So I couldn’t test the transmission out. It’s at 202429 miles now

Interior is still nice besides the headliner

Do you think it’s a safe bet the tranny is good still?

I had done the Guibo and center support bearing, I don’t remember the exact mileage but I would guess about 170k or so. The car did have a little bit of a vibration in the back end, maybe rear diff. Bushings, it wasn’t too bad and I let it go.
I never had any issues with the transmission, it always shifted good.
I actually regret selling that car, overall ran great and I never had any major issues with it.
