    BMW 633CSI Euro (1978) - RebuildIt Classic & Modern

    Hi Guys.

After doing some other BMW projects, I found an E24 633CSI for a nice price and in decent conditions with a lot of spare parts (fenders, brake calipers etc)

I have some big plans for it. The car will be stripped all the way. Engine will be rebuild and improved where possible.
Still thinking about the Turbo setup but need to dig more into that for this engine.

    When it comes to the electrical system I'm planning on making it a "modern car";
    - Added parking sensors
    - Adding reverse camera
    - Adding heated and ventialtions seats system
    - Adding lumbar supports
    - Adding custom speakers system.
    - Upgrading the AC system
    - Different motor management system.
    - Possible digital screen for the instrument cluster etc.

The car will be a project when it's finished I will be enjoy driving it in the weekends and during road trips.

Pictures will follow and planning on added a Youtube channel with progress of the build as well.

For now I'm curious if one of you can help me out.. I've been trying to decode the VIN number but with no result so far.

Can someone help me with the "option package" that's already on the car according to the following info:
    BMW (schweiz) AG
    CH 007256

    Bayerische Motorer Werke A.G.
    Typ: BMW 6CS ausf 33i
    Farhrgest. Nr. 4387481

    ----------------------------------------- 25th March 2020 -----------------------------------------
Managed to get some parts out of the car to get it sorted out.
    Please enjoy the pictures. 8)

I've already contacted BMW dealer in Dielsdorf for more info about the car when it was purchased.
I will not be posting any updates this week but I will be back with more next week! \/

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Update april 8th 2020:

Dealer and other forum users advised me to have a look under the rear seats for a "Prüfkarte"
Too bad this was already removed and only glue was still present ](*,) still no clue about the history and contacted the dealer in Dielsdorf again.
Let's then start to take the car apart and see what we are dealing with.

I hope to finish it before summer next year (2021).
Still researching a lot like; wat embedded systems it's best to use for my goals, integration of the AC unit, engine upgrades etcetera.

The weekly update is also helping me to keep going with the project and not let it die somewhere along the way.

I'll subscribe as I'm interested in your boosting adventures, in a post I read on this forum I thought 500hp was possible with a boosted 3.5L engine, that will be fun.

I'm not so sure as I never really had a look under an e28 or like when it was apart.
Maybe there is someone on this forum that know this or you can have a look at Realoem and figure out the similarities but that might be a tough one.

    Thanks for the support!
Been pretty busy with some other more house related projects but I'm still aiming for a video every Wednesday with enough content
They might be a little bit shorter but I'm also taking the speed up on the timelapse now as it's not that much removing of bolts and so.

I removed the nose as there is hard to reach rust at the welded points.
Now it's better to reach, remove rust and repair the bad spots.
