First post, but I've already gained a lot of knowledge reading other's posts! I purchased a 1999 M3 for track days and it has the Porsche 996 brake caliper conversion setup. The wear sensors and associated wiring look to have been removed (at least from the wheel wells) by the P.O. but the brake wear sensor idiot light is always on. I'm trying to get an inspection sticker for the car and would like to 'suppress' the brake wear idiot light prior to inspection. Have others with the 996 caliper conversion setup dealt with this? Thanks. JMc

You just connect the two wires together.
Looks like I’ll need to buy the sensors (they were removed) and cross the wires, or figure out how to do that at the point where they plugged in on the fender liner. Thanks for the help!
