So I'm not sure when the road coarses are going to open, so I picked up a wheel and pedals in hopes of getting my driving fix this way. Is anyone else playing any sims?

I would really like to buy the necessary equipment for this, but unfortunately it is very expensive, about $3,000.
Assetto Corsa on PC. I've yet to take the dive (and monthly membership) into iRacing but that's probably the next step. Live For Speed is what got me started and I highly recommend giving it a try, plus its free. In my opinion Live For Speed has some of the best driving physics. Its a little dated in terms of graphics but you get over it very quickly.
Its a completely different animal compared to the Need for Speed series. The only thing lacking in LFS is licensing as there are no real manufacturers or tracks in the game. But again, free is awesome and its a great simulator in terms of driving physics. You pay to acquire more tracks and cars but the base game is enough for many hours of driving.
I have played once but did not like the gaming process.
Sure!
It’s quite good. But I don’t want to create an “awesome” console, rather an “awesome” gaming platform.
I like Colin McRae Rally very much - it's very exciting to be able to ride on different types of surfaces and, depending on this, set the car settings.
I do not have time play on games but sometimes I really have a big desire to realx near PC or PlayStation. Maybe I'll try to play it these weekend.

I’ve played it once in a computer club, and it was awesome, but the thing is, that I don’t have so much money to spend on such a thing because to be honest, it is a bit expensive, even if it is pretty realistic and can help with developing your driving skills. Sometimes I drive on a public road, but I was caught once and finned for reckless driving, after that I decided to download a simulator from www.cdkeysforgames.com because better to spend some extra money on a simulator, than on a fine.
