    Style 40 Restoration Time

Now that all vehicle maintenance is done thanks to the Covid shutdown, it’s time I move on to some wheel restoration. Off to my buddy for sandblasting in the morning.

Nice. I was told by an alloy wheel restorer that you should bead blast alloys as sandblasting gets the metal too hot. I guess he was incorrect.

I’m so sorry I wasn’t even paying attention to what I was writing. Soft media blast. Not sand, I was over simplifying, so bad. Thank you for that!!! Yes I had made sure glass was used for mine since I have had aluminum done before. Or any soft media. I wouldn’t personally advise any media if you are going polishing route. Just strip and hand sand then polish.
