I may have posted this before...it's a plate I am tempted to run with (and just tell any cop who pulls me over
that I forgot to swap out the real one, in my trunk, after a car show).
This is a US military plate issued to people stationed in Germany in the 1990s, so is age- and somewhat origin-appropriate for my Z3.
The current PA plates I run are ugly, IMO. I prefer this clean look.

Years ago, I put this down as my first choice entirely as a joke. In Colorado, you have to explain what your plate means. Well, my last name is Hedrick, so that and "road" was pretty easy to BS a car-guy type explanation on the application.

Some idiot at the DMV actually approved it, so I got it. Of course I had to get a matching German plate. The Fjord Grey S38 already got some attention from those in the know, but the plate was photographed daily regardless. I eventually had to retire that one. Of course I still have it in the garage.

My boss had "UNGR8FUL" on his wife's car until recently. He is still waiting on the state to respond to the requests for plate change. It all depends on how the person in the DOT office feels that day, and I'd they have a since of humor...
