Hello Everyone,
I have a slight problem and hoping that someone may help me with this. I have an E38 750IL, 1999 model.
I have changed my EWS 3 due to the previous one in the car not working properly.
The second hand one I bought was from Mini R50 but same part number.
When using NCS expert, now the car seems to think that it is a mini an not E38. So all I get is modules from a mini and not E38 modules coded to the car.
Sadly when trying to read IKE on NCS expert, I get Error. and when trying to get the data from EWS, it is giving me details of Mini R50.
It would seem that EWS and IKE seem to think my car is Mini and not E38. And of course these two modules are where the ZCS coding data is installed.
I have PA Soft and when checking details, it is confirming that the chassis is a Mini despite having my correct vin number. And obviously the ZCS coding data is wrong as it is giving me modules found in a Mini.
So I think ultimately I have to re-code the whole car so to speak.
I am told before there was Zeko ZCS Decoder which could have helped but I cannot find this anywhere on internet.
I do have my original GM, SA coding key. But I did not make a note of VN number, stupidly enough.
GM: 44021200-O
SA: 200104F787115263-U
VN:
I have attached 2 pics. One from PA Soft and one from NCS Expert. Obviously the ZCS coding key is wrong.

I would appreciate any help to resolve this.
Thank you.

Anyone?
Plug in old ews, don't start car, ignition on, read zcs. Keep it in ncs expert, then change ews, and write zcs to replacement ews.
Then default code ews module
