out of curiosity is this possible for the m62tu

i was wondering if it is possible to use M60 idle chain sprocket with 2 side guide above it instead of the single V guide that is on the M62tu. just looking to make my 2003 BMW 4.4i bulletproof.

I did look into that some time ago and decided it was possible but with the amount of work and re machining to mount the bits and possibly modify the cover I decided that it just wasn't worth the time. I would be better off replacing the chain and guides at the 100000km mark or 60000 miles for your country. More for that peace of mind than anything.
