    Fuel Sender for Euro 320/6

My 1983 E21 320/6 is almost finished getting restored. I've had this since 1986. Everything is working however I could use a new/used Fuel Sender. The Part number is: 16121114254

I have had no luck finding a replacement. Will have to be found overseas I'm sure. Posting this to try and get any assistance. Thanks in advance!

Are you asking about the fuel gauge sending unit?

My euro 320/6 had the same tanks and sender as most of my 320i's did I think. The gauge is a Euro gauge - printing. But pretty sure the sweep of the needle is the same?

Yes the fuel sender to the gauge in the dash. My mechanic says they are different sending units.

They do not have the in tank fuel pump or the return line on the main part of the tank cover. But the fuel sender is a second piece that goes into it.

If they are different "Euro" that is then any sender for a euro gauge will work.

Personally still think a US 320i sender would work ok.

But if you want a euro sender you most likely will have to get one out of Europe.

The sender you are looking for is unique to none fuel injected cars and currently not available from BMW but "atlas"
the program for parts location states they will be available 5-7-20. This means order one and most likely you will have
to prove you own a grey market car as the part will be blocked.
OR get a used U.S. 320i sender/ pump assembly and don't use the in-tank pump.
    Hope that helps,

    Jeff
