Valve noise?

2011 328i 160k miles I recently replaced the valve cover (leaking). When I start the car it sounds normal, after a few minutes you can hear this sound that sounds like there's something loose under the valve cover. I also have a code
P054b. I have changed the oil, replaced both Vanos solenoids and both cam sensors. Other than the "sound" the car seems to run fine, but clearly there's something wrong, just not sure what the issue is.

What is P054b? A code without a description is useless.
