Bert,

This exact car has S38 swap at present. The M30 is great engine
but the limitation from the 2 valve head are obvious, specially on
the camshaft..

I love M30 engines but the 4 valve head is so much better to tune
over all package from fuel economy to hi output HP.

I think every E24 should have 4valve head engine swap but that
is me..

Though I admit it is possible that they have swapped engines since this time.
