Hey all, I have an all original 323i that was bought by a friend of mine new at the factory, has every available option right down to the fire extinguisher. I had driven and lusted after this car for over 20 years and finally he gave it to me a few years ago (for a small fee). My question is should I drive it? or sell it? it is completely un modified, in as new condition less the clear coat fading. Has 80k KM on it and runs like new, still has the cosmoline on the engine. I am considering selling it, but I also have thought about giving to my kids when they are old enough. I have quite a few cars and I am not sure Ill drive it often enough to keep it well. also, anyone know if there are any chip modifications that can be added to give it a little more cajones>
Can we see some pictures of this European beauty??
I have a soft spot for an ‘82 323i

Keep it and Drive it!
Leave it stock, plenty of power for the street.

Keep it and drive it. Or at least drive it until you're sure one way or the other. And post pictures!
Keep/preserve it in original condition or sell to someone who will. No reason not to drive and enjoy sparingly.
No chip for carbureted cars so leave it alone.
Please DON'T give it to your kids.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
If you wanted it for so long, why sell it? Just keep it properly stored when not in use (dry garage) and drive it during summers on a nice day. Today is a good day for example, I am taking my 320i out right now
Do not let kids touch it as kids rarely appreciate these things and will thrash it. If kids would be interested in it, you'd know...
No modifications will make it better and would negatively affect the value.

I would love to buy it.
Keep it stock and enjoy it...if you ever want a modified or track e21, let me know.
Hi you can not put a chip in it. It has KJet. You could put and M50 or M20 2.5 E30 engine in - you can build a stroker engine off the M20 I made a 3.0 liter.
