I just recently started getting something together, to bag the wagon. Has anyone else bagged their E39? Care to share your set up? I'm repurposing the stock rear bags for now, and trying to figure that out. I have an idea what to do, just not sure what fitting.
Whatever you do, don't become one of those stancetards, ok? Thanks!

Hi, just wondering how it drives with air bags? They are a lovely car any but it must be way better than before for you?

Somebody’s getting grumpy being stuck at home, now he’s starting to troll me. It’s ok Jumped Off The Fence, it doesn’t bother me. But let me make one thing straight, I don’t trash everyone, only a certain few that maybe/maybe did not, deserve it, either way, just to let you know, I really have toned myself down, I can be a real jerk if I wanted to be, what you’ve seen on here is nothing. If you ever got to meet me, maybe you’d understand, life is really great, and I like to make people laugh, maybe you don’t see that, others do, maybe you don’t have a sense of humor, what can I say? Don’t let it bother you, must’ve been hard in the playgrounds of your youth, perhaps? I’m sorry if that is so, sorry I wasn’t there, I was the kid that always picked on the bullys and dumped them into the garbage cans when I was done with them.

oh oh, another post that is going down the tubes.
Aftermarket Air bags are for the most part are a "tuner" look that goes real well with heavily modified cars of Japanese models, American trucks (Vintage), off road crowd and etc. Not too many Euro cars, although I have seen a few tortured Audis bouncing down the Hwys on the East Coast over that past few years. Not my personal taste but that is what makes the car culture unique, You can do whatever you want to own car as it is your vision and your money. Have not seen any posts on this forum on the application you are looking to tweak. I would recommend check the tuner forums for insight and advice.
Meanwhile, Snotty thoughts and posts are always humorously entertaining even while they may not be as gentle, toned down or "refined" as could be. He was not "socialized" as a child. Personally I blame his parents... His posts always make me laugh in spite of the swirl of current world events.
Welcome to the fun of forums. Grow a little thicker skin and don't take anything posted personally and you will be a happier person.

I like snotty's attitude always makes me laugh.
I've got on with these bags like I did with the bc's a bit firmer than OEM but now I have the ability to lift the car over big speed humps. Yeah and the visual when parked low is quite lovely. I have a ride height of around the same OEM if it helps.
Got monoballs to fit when I can shift my butt.

Its all good. Ive gotten quite used to getting "round about, yet nowhere near answers" to the vast majority of any thread or question ive asked. Most likely I was on the same playground, whether it was years before, maybe after. Was never really bothered.
Hey Kenny, did you graft those X5 scoops into the hood? Looks pretty good. I feel like we’ve talked about those before, but my memory is not quite TDK, not even Maxell, but more like a Memorex cassette dropped in a puddle, all kinds of fubar’d up.

No I didn't do it, a Facebook e39 member started it by cutting out the center of the e39 and grafting the same section of the e53 in. Only a couple of days later he was saying he wants to sell it cos of money problems, so I took a look at it and decided to finish it off.

Glad to say most of my memory is MA-XG !
Still have these two safely stored away! Might have to find a nice Nakamichi again !
Nothing wrong with Air Ride, plenty of BMW owners have it on their cars. I'm in two minds for it, so for now I've gone KW V1 coilovers & I'll tweak the ride height perhaps a bit lower still but for now it looks like this;
I thought about the E53 hood/bonnet mod, but I stayed with the Carbon Fibre subtle powerdome/no vents option
Kenny - It's been a long time since we last met, hopefully will catchup again soon enough... once it's safe again!
Cheers, Dennis!
Ahhh haha! Hey Dennis, back in the day, I used to really get into recordings, I had those TDK MA-X cassettes too, used to get them by the case, and I did have a couple of Nakamichi decks, one of which was a Dragon. What I loved about those Nakamichis was your ability to properly align the heads for the best possible recordings. Those MA-X tapes were great until you dropped them and cracked the clear side cases, that was their only downside.
